Welcome to Radio Seerah 

Radio Seerah is the UK's largest Muslim community radio station, proudly based in Leicester. Since our inception, we have become a cornerstone of the community, offering a platform for diverse voices and perspectives. Our mission is to foster understanding, education, and community cohesion through the medium of radio. 

Our journey 

Founded by Molana Abdur Raheem Diwan, an esteemed Imaam at Masjid Fatima Zahrah since 2009, Radio Seerah began its journey as an RSL (Restricted Service License) radio station. Thanks to the unwavering support of our community and the dedication of our team, we transitioned to a full-time community radio station in February 2019. Alhamdulillah, we continue to grow and serve our audience with quality programming and meaningful content.

The Founder   

Molana Abdur Raheem Diwan is a respected religious leader and community figure in Leicester. His vision for Radio Seerah was to create a platform that would educate, inform, and unite the Muslim community. Under his leadership, the station has flourished, maintaining a strong commitment to its founding principles.
